We have a 4,000 square foot state-of-the-art cleaning plant, complete with a Dusting Room, Extraction Room and an Envionmentaly Friendly Drying Facility. Shehadi has been cleaning rugs of all types for over 40 years.

Process

The cleaning process for normal chrome dye (colorfast) rugs: The rug is turned upside down and a machine beats the back of the rug to release dirt, dust, and dead wool. The rug is then turned face up and a pile brush (heavy vacuum) stands the pile up and gets more dirt and dust out. The rug then goes into the scrub room where a rotary machine with a soft brush shampoos the rug with a neutral ph soap. Extra attention is paid to traffic patterns and heavily soiled areas and any necessary spot cleaning is done. Then a powerful vacuum jets water into the pile and sucks out the dirt and soap. The rug is then rinsed again. The pile is brushed by hand and post spot cleaning is done. The rug is then hung in the air to dry. Finally the rug is taken down, brushed again and any necessary post-spot cleaning is done upon inspection.

The customer is then called to arrange pick-up or delivery.
